A Presentation System supporting engineers of a car manufacturer explaining the progress of their research to individuals or small groups of visitors of a trade fair. The system structures and displays authentic working material created by the engineers themselves. This original material is left untouched or just slightly modified according to a styleguide, which I wrote. A small touchsensitive screen only visible to the speaker himself is used to control the presentation, and to access the whiteboard functionality etc. A big screen visible to the visitors shows the charts, diagrams, movies or animations supporting the talks. These documents are embedded in a futuristic looking user interface. This "fake" user interface, which isn't intended to be used, but just to look "cool", transports the high tech image of the company through sophisticated three-d animations during the process of selecting and opening documents.
